I think we all find ourselves with way too many sweet treats around Christmas. I certainly always have cinnamon stars, Contessa Lebkuchen, Printen, Dominosteine and Stollen in my house in December. And yes, it does get overwhelming. One can only eat that much!
So, I often find that my Stollen goes stale after a few weeks… And that’s exactly when this Stollen Trifle comes in to rescue the day! Super quick and easy to assemble, making it the perfect festive dessert for when you want to get rid of a Stollen (you can of course also use fresh Stollen!).
