Well, don’t worry, I’ve got you sorted with this super quick soda bread! Soda bread is an Irish loaf that’s made with bicarbonate of soda to make it rise in the oven. This cuts down the time of your bread-baking massively, since there’s no rising time. The finished loaf is a dense, heavy bread – which is thanks to the big quantity of buttermilk that goes into the dough. A lovely bread, especially when topped with a good smudge of butter and some homemade jam.
