I’m known to host a fabulous annual Xmas party, at which I serve lots and lots of fingerfood. The festive season is really such a good excuse for me to come up with new party food recipes – and for this one I’m turning to Moutarderie cocktail sauce (made with whisky!). I’m using it in a classic prawn cocktail, paired with avocado, which I’m serving in little crispy cocktail cups. (In case you’re wondering where I got these from – they’re from IKEA… I just love their delicate crispy shells).
Prepare everything ahead, but only fill the cases right before serving, as they will become soggy otherwise.
