Pimp your leftover nuts and turn them into a delicious snack!
I often have all sorts of nuts lying around my cupboards – half-empty packets of walnuts, pecans and almonds (the unfinished victims from some recipe testing), sachets of nut and fruit mix handed out on Luxair flights (untouched since I didn’t feel like eating them with a face mask on…), leftover dried fruit from baking… My cupboards are full of nuts.
Problem is: nuts go off at some point. So, I’ve started turning them into a delicious snack, to save them from their cupboard limbo! They get coated in a salty caramel, spiced with fennel seeds and curry powder. Absolutely delicous and so addictive – they never last long!!!
