My culinary adventures now take me to wonderful Istanbul. The ancient Turkish city spreads over two continents and wherever you go, you’re bound to find an eclectic mix of Asian and European influences.
In this first episode I’m wandering around the Grand Bazaar, am drinking tea in a carpet shop and am eating one of the best döner kebabs in town.
In my little kitchen, I’ll be making Turkish pizza, a refreshing herby bulgur salad and sigara börek stuffed with carrot, feta and mint.
