Whisky carrots with honey

Inspired by this week’s Mastercook, here’s my side dish with whisky.

Whisky and carrots? Oh yes, believe me, it works!  I prefer a slightly smoky whisky for this, which adds a nice peaky dimension to the carrots. Still, you can use any whisky you like, or completely omit the alcohol if you prefer –  but you’ll be missing out on a great trick…
