Thip Samai

This Pad Thai place has sprung from its humble origins (one guy, one wok) to a big-time noodle-swinging operation. These days you have 5 guys manning huge woks, churning out up to 10 Pad Thai plates at a time. The main attraction is the omelette-wrapped pad Thai, or, one could argue: the queues! These days you have to wait for up to an hour to get a table at Thip Samai. Is it worth it? Well, let’s say there are plenty of great places that do good pad Thai in Bangkok, Thip Samai just happens to be the most famous one…
