My Barcelona adventure continues. This time I’m exploring modern Spanish cuisine. I’m eating at an excellent restaurant set in a house by Spanish architect Gaudi (Casa Calvet) and head to a very traditional tapas bar (La Plata). I also eat at a restaurant that champions dishes made with regional Catalan produce (Montiel).
In my kitchen, I’m cooking sherry-braised pig’s cheeks with prunes, scallops with chorizo crumbs and making salted chocolate pots drizzled with olive oil.
