Bom Dia Anne – Anne’s Kitchen in Portugal
With over 90.000 Portuguese residents in Luxembourg, Portuguese culture is omnipresent. Time for Anne Faber of Anne’s Kitchen to get on a plane and discover Portugal in all its diversity.
Over 8 episodes to be broadcast on RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg from January 2025, Anne will be exploring Portugal in the search for culinary highlights and regional specialties.
Anne’s travels take her from the vibrant capital Lisbon to the beaches in the Algarve, up North to beautiful Porto and wine-making Douro and all the way to exotic Madeira island.
On her tour, Anne encounters Luxembourgers, who’ve decided to make Portugal their home and meets up with Portuguese people who have returned to their homeland after living in Luxembourg for most of their lives – culminating in a trip to Mortagua, a small village with a very special link to Luxembourg.
Food is of course the central catalyst to all these stories, and Anne explores the culinary diversity of this fascinating country – she eats pastéis de nata in Belem, visits a sardine canning factory in Porto and shares a bifana with a Luxembourgish twist in Sétubal.
Get ready for some yummy Portugal travels!
