I’m eating eat in the best Ottoman restaurant in town, Asitane, and am discovering a wacky Ottoman dessert – made with chicken. Also, I’m learning how to make baklava in the best baklaveria in town – Karaköy Güllüoğlu.
In my kitchen I’m cooking a Turkish yoghurt soup and a chicken döner kebab. I’m also making some great dried fruit truffles, perfect for guilt-free snacking.
