Lei Yue Mun

Lei Yue Mun is an old fishing village in the middle of Hong Kong, where you can get a sense of what Hong Kong used to be before turning into a skyscraper jungle. Here you find lots of seafood restaurants. The idea is that you walk around the village and stop at the many fish and seafood shops, which sell live produce which you then take to a restaurant and have freshly prepared. It’s the freshest seafood experience you’ll ever get! Make sure to take enough cash, as it’s likely to set you back quite a bit – but it’s worth every penny!

You can watch me explore Lei Yue Mun in this ‘Anne’s Asian Adventures’ episode.
