Travel has always been central to my work.
Over the years, I’ve explored more than 40 countries, often returning to the same places again and again. I’m drawn to destinations through food — through markets, home kitchens, street food, restaurants and the people behind them. What interests me most is not ticking off highlights, but understanding how places are lived in and eaten in.
This section brings together a selection of destinations that have shaped my cooking and storytelling. You’ll find carefully put-together itineraries, favourite addresses, food-focused walks and practical travel guides — often accompanied by downloadable PDFs designed to be genuinely useful when planning a trip.
Each guide is built from firsthand experience and on-the-ground research. They reflect how I travel myself: curious, observant and always with an eye for detail, context and connection. Food is never treated in isolation, but as part of a broader cultural landscape.
Through my travel work — on television, in writing and across digital platforms — I aim to tell stories that feel immersive, human and grounded, offering a deeper understanding of a place through its food and the people who shape it.
