Kappabashi Dori, also known as “kitchen street”, is my favourite Toyko street to spend an afternoon in. It’s packed with shops selling all kinds of kitchen supplies: from colourful chopsticks to patterned bowls, fake food display plates and all shapes of cookie cutters – this place is heaven for a food enthusiast!
There’s even a building that has coffee-cups as balconies! It sits right opposite the iconic building with a giant chef’s head on top of it. Crazy, those Japanese streets!
