Kéistaart – Luxembourgish Cheesecake

This might just be the most Luxembourgish cake of all time 🇱🇺

Kéistaart — straight from the old Kichechef cookbooks of the 90s.

Made with quark, mascarpone and sour cream, it’s lighter and fluffier than a classic cheesecake.

The original recipe said 1 hour in the oven. Reality? Over 2 😅 Which is exactly why I test these old recipes before sharing them with you.

As part of Kichechef’s 50th anniversary, I’m going back to their 90s cookbooks to see which recipes still hold up today.
